The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially declared the preliminary examination results for several subjects in the LT Grade (Assistant Teacher) recruitment 2025. The results for Science, Home Science, Sanskrit, and Commerce reveal a stark reality: even if every successful candidate passes the Mains, hundreds of positions will still go unfilled.
Total Vacancies: 1,353 (including 764 for the Male branch and 573 for the Female branch).
* Qualified for Mains: Only 329 candidates.
* The Gap: A staggering 1,024 posts are guaranteed to remain vacant because candidates could not meet the minimum proficiency standards.
The commission noted that they could not find enough candidates to meet the standard “15 times the number of vacancies” rule for the Mains due to poor performance in the preliminary round.
